• Developed and wrote programming help systems for APIs used in the server (UNIX) component of the data warehousing package. Help systems ranged in size from 250 Kbytes to 1.8 Mbytes. Provided critical feedback to other technical writers for the overall design of server component help systems.
• Developed and wrote user help systems for add-ins used in the PC component of the data warehousing package. PC help systems were about 100 Kbytes in size.
• Read and evaluated changes to IDL code on the UNIX server. Inserted text into IDL definitions using VI (UNIX editor).
• Created a set of guidelines for writing server error messages used by internal programmers.

• Produced paper output in XYWrite, Interleaf, and SGML-based OSDE formats. Produced CD-ROM output in SGML-based Dynatext and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) formats.
• Led conversion of documents from Interleaf to Dynatext CD-ROM using the Avalanche FastTag program. Received an individual achievement award for this effort. Identified and corrected problems in the Avalanche code that could be addressed at Unisys.
• Supported other members of the Documentation Department with PC and network problems.
