Planning trip to Scotland in 2011

Planning a trip with darling daughter sometime in summer, 2011

Basic plan. Fly to London, spend night there, take train to Carlisle next morning. Visit Carlisle Castle, maybe Hadrian's Wall. Rent car in Carlisle. Drive to Skye, spend 2 nights there. Drive up to Inverness, back down to area where highlands starts (Pitlochen?) and spend a night or two there. Drive to Edinburgh, turn in car. Spend a night or two there. Train back to London and fly home.
