Webcomics I read

I am a mild webcomic junkie.  No, trust me, this is mild.  Some people have lists twice as long as this.  Anyway, this is a comprehensive list of the webcomics I read or used to read regularly.  I've provided a 20-word synopsis/review of each below.  I've also ranked them from 0 to 10 on five categories:

Note that some of these categories are meant only to be descriptive, with higher numbers not necessarily designating a better comic.  What's more, they're far from exhaustive.  For that reason, I've included a seventh category:

Note that the Overall rating is not meant to designate how good a comic is universally, only how much it appeals to me.  If you think you share some of my tastes, you should find the higher-rated comics entertaining.  Naturally, almost all the comics here have above-average overall ratings--otherwise I wouldn't have read them!

Surreal comic packed with gratuitous absurdities, unique humor, bizarre characters, pop culture references, disgustingly funny art and dialogue.  Keenspot's first.

Story of a magical academy in a compelling, colorful, well-wrought fantasy world.  Far inferior since the creators split up.

Driven, exciting science fiction strip.  Story of a mercenary company enmeshed in galactic plots.  Witty humor, intricate cultures, good science.

Highly irregular.  The creator updates either the strip or his journal strip, Why The Long Face, every week or so.
Adult roomates with varying personalities.  Sys-admin, goofy artist, simpleton, programmer.  Social satire, speculative humor, the occasional role-playing sequence.
